Governor Bong Lacson together with Fifth District Representative, Ma. Lourdes Arroyo, and Isabela Mayor Irene Montilla led the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a three-storey hemodialysis center at Ignacio L. Arroyo Memorial District Hospital in the Municipality of Isabela, today.
The activity started with the groundbreaking ceremony and followed by a short program attended by the guests and other local officials.
The project that costs P19.5 Million is set to be completed within this year, and the facility will have an initial 12 beds for hemodialysis patients.
Rep. Arroyo thanked Gov. Lacson for his support not only to the Isabela hospital project but also to various projects in the Fifth District, and lauded the him for being a kind and humble public servant.
Mayor Montilla said that the facility will cater not only to the Isabelenos but to the whole Fifth District of the province. The construction of the facility is spearheaded by the Dept. of Public Works and Highways – Negros Occ. 2nd District Engineering Office.
Also present were Hospital Chief, Dr. Ma. Lalaine Teorima and DPWH Assistant District Engineer, Roderick Turingan, Negrense businessman and philanthropist, Frankie Uy, and Rep. Arroyo’s husband, John Lesaca, among others.
