Governor Bong Lacson led the termination of Task Group Panaad Festival 2023 held at the Panaad Park Stage on April 24, 2023.

The governor thanked the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOCPPO) Command Group led by Colonel Leo Pamittan and all PNP personnel and other concerned government agencies for securing Panaad during the seven-day festivities despite the summer heat.

He said the resumption of the festival will not be successful without the PNP’s aid and assistance.

Also present in the activity were Provincial Tourism Officer and Panaad Festival Director Cheryl Decena, Panaad Park Administrator, Engr. Jojo Amugod, Police Lieutenant Colonel Jay Malong, NOCPPO Deputy Provincial Director for Operation, and Police Lieutenant Colonel Wilfredo Abordo, NOCPPO Deputy Provincial Director for Administration.
