WATCH. Inter LGU 3×3 Basketball Championship held at Talisay City Gym
Governor Bong Lacson welcomed all participants to the Governor’s Cup Inter-LGU 3×3 Basketball Championship hosted by Talisay City Saturday, October 8, 2022.
Participating Teams from Southern Negros are the cities of Bago, La Carlota, Himamaylan, Kabankalan, and Sipalay, and the towns of Ilog and Valladolid.
Teams from Northern Negros are from the cities of Escalante, San Carlos, Cadiz, and Talisay and the towns of Murcia and Manapla.
Provincial Sports Coordinator, Anthony Carlos Agustin, Talisay City Sports Coordinator, Marvin Tan, Talisay City LGU councilors, and other guests, attended the activity.
Gov. Lacson said that the goal of the Abanse Negrense Sports Development program is to promote and develop sports at the grassroots level.
He also advised the players to enhance their skills in sports skills but always prioritize their studies.
He said he hopes to see Negrense players qualify and play in national and international basketball tournaments in the future.
