The activity is themed, “Abanse Negrense: Reimagining Our Future”.
It is an initiative of the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental through the Office of Board Member Rita Gatuslao, to give young Negrense artists the creative space to engage in defining the vision they want for their future and the future generations.
The Visual Arts (Painting) winners receive a Plaque of Appreciation and P100,000 worth of Linangan Art Residency Program Scholarship through the Negros Occ. Scholarship Program. Other fees and travel expenses will also be shouldered by the province.
