COVID-19 Vaccination Simulation Exercise for all local government units of the Province of Negros Occidental was held at Cansilayan National High School in the Municipality of Murcia, earlier today.

The activity, attended by local officials, and city and municipal health officers and nurses, is in preparation for the vaccination program, which will be conducted to every city and municipality of the province, once the vaccines are available.

Provincial Health Officer, Dr. Ernell Tumimbang, said the objective of the activity is for the LGUs to observe the proper protocols, stages to be complied, time requirement for every vaccinee, and to look for areas for improvement, as far as vaccination against COVID-19 is concerned.

Present in the activity were Board Members Juvy Pepello and Manuel Frederick Ko, Murcia Mayor Gerry Rojas, Dr. Jessica Fama of PHO, and DOH Officer Dr. Elizabeth Altamira. Mayor Roxas said that he is thankful for the support and cooperation of every concerned agency and department that contributed to the success of the day’s activity.
