Gov. Bong Lacson presided over the Provincial Food and Drinking Water Quality Monitoring Committee Meeting held at the Capitol Social Hall, today, and talked about updates on cases of food and waterborne diseases, and other potential threats to public health.
The committee, primarily comprised of staff from the Provincial Health Office, is tasked with ensuring that water is safe for human consumption, as well as for wildlife and marine life.
Their responsibilities include identifying sources of water pollution or food poisoning and developing strategies for sustainable water source management and sanitation, all while promoting and safeguarding public health.
