The Province of Negros Occidental was awarded a Plaque of Recognition and Certification for achieving a Malaria-free status since 2021 given by the Department of Health.
Governor Bong Lacson received the award, together with Dr. Girlie Pinongan and Dr. Ernell Tumimbang of the Provincial Health Office, among others, during the Provincial Health Board Meeting and Universal Health Care MOA Signing held at the Capitol Social Hall yesterday, May 9, 2023.
