The Provincial Government of Negros Occidental acquired a brand new Water Rescue Logistics Truck that will be used to rescue and transport more victims during evacuation or disaster operations, especially during a major flood event.
The rescue truck has large tires, high ground clearance, and intake and electrical systems that are more reliable and stronger than a standard vehicle. It is very useful in Water Search and Rescue (WASAR) operations.
Gov. Bong Lacson, Provincial Administrator Atty. Rayfrando Diaz, and Provincial Disaster Management Program Head, Dr. Zeaphard Caelian inspected the unit at the Capitol yesterday, June 30, 2022.
