A total of 370 Grade 7 students of the Municipality of Calatrava received learning tablets in a ceremonial distribution and launching of Project “BONG” in the town.
The student recipients are from Agpangi National High School, Dolis National High School, Jose Valmayor National High School, Laga-an National High School, and San Benito Integrated School.
Project BONG or (Bata ang Ona sa NeGros) aims to ensure that learners are properly equipped with learning materials in addition to providing them with quality public education.Present at the activity held at the Calatrava Covered Court were Calatrava Mayor Marilyn Era and Vice Mayor Florido Dinapo, Negros Occ.
Schools Division Superintendent Anthony Liobet, Calatrava 1 Public Schools District Supervisor Dr. Roger Palang-at, local officials, teachers, and parents. Gov. Lacson thanked the local government of Calatrava, DepEd Calatrava, PTA, and all other partners, for their support to the learners.The governor said that it is his ardent hope for every Negrense student to advance to be confident individuals, responsible citizens, and effective contributors to the community and the country.
