Governor Bong Lacson led the distribution of Early Planting Incentives worth a total of P285,000 to 127 farmer-beneficiaries of the Municipality of Pontevedra on Tuesday (Feb. 14).
The beneficiaries are farmers engaged in early planting as support to rice requirements in the province, particularly during the off-season.
Fourth District Board Member Andrew Martin Torres and Pontevedra Mayor Jose Benito Alonso were also present at the activity, which was facilitated by the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist led by Dr. Edmundo Raul Causing.
