WATCH. PHILRICE NEGROS STATION DONATED 695 PACKs @ 10 KG PER PACK OF MILLED RICE TO THE PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT
This afternoon, PhilRice Negros Station donated 695 packs (10 kg per pack) of milled rice to the Provincial Government via PhilRice Director Dr. Gerardo Estoy, Jr. The Oriental Mindoro Seed Producers Multi-Purpose Cooperative also contributed 10,820 kg of rice seeds, which were coordinated by the Negros Occidental Office of the Provincial Agriculturist, PhilRice Negros Station, Province of Oriental Mindoro, Office of Civil Defense, Philippine Coast Guards of Iloilo and Bacolod, and Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council.
The donations were received by Francis Velez, Executive Assistant to the Governor, and will be distributed to typhoon-affected LGUs as the province’s relief operations continue every week.
