The Negros Occidental Provincial Health Office spearheaded the launching activity of the Family Planning Month at the Ayala Malls Capitol Centrale in Bacolod City last Friday, August 12, 2022.
The activity aims to raise awareness of men and women of reproductive age, especially the 18-25 years old group, on reproductive health, proper timing, and spacing of pregnancies in accordance to their family size goals.
The activity is in collaboration with the Dept. of Health, Commission on Population and Development and USAID ReachHealth.
Present in the activity were Board Member Rita Gatuslao, Hospital Operations Dept. Head, Dr. Girlie Pinongan, and Population Division Head, Dr. Edmund Calaor, among others.
