The Provincial Development Council held its Year-end Meeting at the Capitol Social Hall in Bacolod City, this morning, presided over by Gov. Bong Lacson.

Gov. Lacson signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Aftab Opel, country director of Innovations for Poverty Action, which entails the Philippines Socioeconomic Panel Survey Project to be implemented in pilot LGUs such as Binalbagan, Calatrava, Candoni, Cauayan, E.B. Magalona, Hinigaran, Hinobaan, Ilog, and Isabela.

The Top 5 Gender-Responsive Local Government Units, namely Hinoba-an, Victorias City, Himamaylan City, Cadiz City, and Cauayan, were also awarded as part of the meeting and received trophies and cash incentives.

Negros Occ. Provincial Administrator Atty. Rayfrando Diaz also presented the 2023 – 2028 Provincial Development and Physical Framework Plan during the meeting.*#AbanseNegrense
