Negros Occidental Gov. Bong Lacson led the distribution of cash incentives worth a total of P901,000 to Palarong Pambansa medalists of Negros Occidental, this morning.

The ceremonial distribution was held at the Negros Residences in Bacolod City, in the presence of representatives from DepEd Division of Negros Occidental.

Gold medalists received P5,000 for each medal; silver medalists received P4,000, and bronze medalists received P3,000 each.

Negrense athletes won 31 gold, 34 silver, and 22 bronze medals in the recent Palarong Pambansa 2024 held in Cebu City.*#AbanseNegrense
