Negros Occidental Gov. Bong Lacson spearheaded the distribution of P5,350,000.00 financial aid to the beneficiaries of Presidential Assistance to Farmers, Fisherfolk, and their Families (PAFFF) Program in Bago City Coliseum last July 18.
The distribution of PAFFF was part of the P50 million financial aid given by President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. for the farmers who were affected by the El NiƱo Phenomenon at the province.
The farmer-beneficiaries in the Fourth District are from Bago City, Pontevedra, Pulupandan, San Enrique, and Valladolid.
Gov. Lacson expressed his gratitude to Pres. Marcos Jr. for the assistance given to the farmers and the big help to the agricultural industry in the province.
The Provincial Government also distributed food packs to the farmer-beneficiaries.
Also, present during the distribution were 4th District Board Member Andrew Martin Torres, 3rd Board Member Manuel Frederick Ko, Bago City Mayor Nicholas Yulo, and other local officials*
