A total of P8.4 Million were distributed to 28 barangays of the different districts of the province.
Each of the beneficiary barangays received P300,000 each for various development projects such as improvement of water system, repair of evacuation center, installation of street lights, road concreting, improvement of multi-purpose building, rehabilitation of overflow bridge, purchase of multi-purpose vehicle, construction of senior citizen building, concerting of fish wharf, riprapping of creek and canal, construction of perimeter fence, construction of covered court stage, and concreting of pathway.
Gov. Bong Lacson led the distribution of checks to the punong barangays at the Provincial Capitol, this morning, in the presence of Board Members Jeffrey Tubola, Samson Mirhan, and Pal Guanzon.
The recipients are Brgys. Mabini, Langub, Malasibog, Washington, Pinapugasan and Baguiohan, all of Escalante City; Brgys. 1 and San Pablo, Manapla; Brgys. Magsaysay and Tinampa-an of Cadiz City; Brgys. Bulanon, Poblacion 1, and Molocaboc of Sagay City; Brgy. Balaring, Silay City; Brgy. Mabini, Pontevedra; Brgy. Batuan, San Enrique; Brgy. II – Poblacion, Himamaylan City; Brgy. I – Poblacion, Isabela; Brgys. Narauis, Aranda, I – Poblacion, II – Poblacion, III – Poblacion, and Calapi of Hinigaran; Brgy. Payauan, Candoni; Brgy. Tuyom, Cauayan; and Brgys. Tagoc and Poblacion VII of Kabankalan City.
