P14.4 M WORTH OF PROJECTS RELEASED TO BARANGAYS
A total of P14.4 Million were distributed to 48 barangays from the different cities and municipalities of the District III, IV, and V of Negros Occidental, for funding of barangay projects.
Governor Bong Lacson led the distribution of checks at the Provincial Capitol, this morning, attended by punong barangays and authorized officials.
The 48 recipient-barangays received P300,000 each for projects namely, installation of solar powered street lights, purchase of multi-purpose vehicle, construction of pathways, construction of grouted riprap, concreting of footwalk, and purchase of multi-purpose vehicle.
Also present in the activity were 3rd District Board Member Manuel Frederick Ko and Himamaylan City Mayor Raymund Tongson, among others.
