Negros Occidental Gov. Bong Lacson led today’s organizational meeting and consultation related to the bid to host the Organic World Congress 2027.

Bacolod City Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez expressed his support for the organic agriculture advocacies and initiatives of the province.

The activity was attended by Negros Occ. Board Members Andrew Montelibano, Rommel Debulgado, Araceli Somosa, and Valentino Miguel Alonso, International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements (IFOAM) VP Edgardo Uychiat, IFOAM Asia Executive Director Jennifer Chang, and other organic agriculture stakeholders.*
