Major General Benedict Arevalo, new commander of the 3rd Infantry Division, Philippine Army, paid a courtesy visit to Negros Occidental Gov. Bong Lacson at the Capitol, this morning. MGen. Arevalo was installed as new commander last September 21, 2021.

He replaced Brigadier General Noel Baluyan, who served as an Acting Division Commander following the mandatory retirement of Major General Eric Vinoya last September 6.

Aside from maintaining peace and order, MGen. Arevalo commits to serve the people, perform his job with excellence, and lead by example.
