NEDF REPAYS LOAN ASSISTANCE AFTER PROJECT COMPLETION
The Negros Economic Development Foundation (NEDF), Inc. turned over P5 million to the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental as repayment for the organization’s loan assistance.
In 2019, the province provided NEDF with a P5 million grant for the Binalbagan Socialized Housing Project in Brgy. Enclaro, Binalbagan.
After the project was completed, NEDF was required to submit a Terminal Report and return the P5M project fund to the province.
NEDF President Wilhelmina Gonzales, along with NEDF Vice Chairperson Dr. Ma. Mercedes Joson, Executive Director Rose Depra, and Corporate Secretary Eduardo Jereza, presented the repayment to Negros Occidental Provincial Administrator, Atty. Rayfrando Diaz, in the Capitol this afternoon.
NEDF has demonstrated its success in the implementation of various projects in Negros Occidental, including socialized housing, agricultural development, environmental initiatives, health, and entrepreneurship.
