MURCIA NEW PUBLIC MARKET AND PLAZA INAUGURATED
Governor Bong Lacson together with the officials of the Municipality of Murcia led by Mayor Gerry Rojas, led today’s inauguration of the town’s public market and plaza.
The governor lauded the local government of Murcia for another successful project of the town. He said that the newly-renovated public market and plaza is the face of the LGU that will boost its tourism and economic activities.
Mayor Rojas thanked Gov. Lacson for his continuous support of the town’s projects for development.
Also present in the inauguration were Third District Board Members Andrew Montelibano and Manuel Frederick Ko, Murcia Vice Mayor Johnny Reosura and the city council, among other guests.
The satellite office of Rep. Kiko Benitez, tourism office, senior citizen, municipal library, museum and function hall were also inaugurated.
