The DENR – Environmental Management Bureau Solid Waste Management Team led by Vinci Raymundo, together with Provincial Environment Management Office – Solid Waste Management focal persons Sheila Joan Bautista and Ria Dada, conducted a spot monitoring of the Food Terminal Market of Occidental Negros (FTMON) Material Recovery Facility (MRF) on Wednesday, February 1, 2023.
FTMON was assessed to be compliant with RA 9003 or the Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000 in terms of proper documentation, segregation, and reduction of daily waste.FTMON Division Head Beverly de Oca and staff were also present during the monitoring.
