Governor Bong Lacson and Sixth District Board Member, Jeffrey Tubola, distributed cash assistance worth a total of P458,000 to Sixth District residents of the province, who are recipients of medical and burial aids.
The distribution was held this morning in Brgy. Talubangi Covered Court in Kabankalan City.
The Sixth District is composed of the cities of Kabankalan and Sipalay, and the towns of Ilog, Cauayan, Candoni, and Hinoba-an.
Gov. Lacson thanked Board Member Tubola for initiating valuable projects that directly benefit his constituents in the southern Negros.
He also urged everyone to get vaccinated against COVID-19 once the vaccines become available in their respective barangays, as it is the best solution to combat the present pandemic.
Also present in the activity were Kabankalan City Mayor Pedro Zayco, Jr. and other local officials.Strict health protocols were implemented at the activity.
