Governor Bong Lacson joined the Governors’ Forum via Zoom App, with the members and officers of the League of Provinces of the Philippines, today, that was also attended by Senators Panfilo Lacson and Imee Marcos.
Sen. Lacson, as principal sponsor and author of the Senate Bill No. 1083, gave a briefing on the said bill or the proposed Anti-Terrorism Act, including its meritorious provisions as well as its argumentative provisions.
Sen. Marcos also joined the meeting and updated the governors of the priority bills in the Senate affecting LGUs and also discussed important issues and concerns of the provinces amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Meanwhile, Atty. Alberto Agra, Professor of Laws and Political Law Bar Reviewer, led the forum on the Post- Bayanihan Act and explained the enhanced supervision of LGUs under the said act.
