MEETING WITH ICRC. The executives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) namely, Boris Michel, Zarina Atojonova, and Alvin Loyala met with Gov. Bong Lacson at the Capitol yesterday, June 21, 2022.
The ICRC works in partnership with the Phil. Red Cross in assisting displaced and vulnerable people in conflict-affected areas. It aims to promote respect for humanitarian law by working with authorities and security forces.
Also present in the meeting were 303rd Infantry Brigade Commander, General Inocencio Pasaporte, Negros Occ. Police Provincial Office (NOCPPO) Director Colonel Leo Pamittan, Association of Negros Producers president, Arlene Infante, Negros Occ. Schools Division Superintendent, Marsette Sabbaluca, and Provincial Planning and development Office OIC, Ana Marie Lucasan.
