Rice farmers from the Municipality of Valladolid received Quick Turn-Around/Early Planting Incentives in a ceremonial distribution held at the Capitol grounds, this morning. A total of P1,008,440 were distributed to 368 farmer-beneficiaries.

The project, implemented through the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist, is a production grant given to farmers who helped in the continuity of rice production to ensure food security in the province, especially at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Board Members Jose Benito Alonso and Jeffrey Tubola, and OPA OIC, Dr. Dina Genzola, also assisted in the activity.
