GOV. LACSON TO HAVE A VIRTUAL MEETING WITH BACOLOD TO HARMONIZE TRAVEL GUIDELINES

Gov. Bong Lacson has agreed to the request of Bacolod City Mayor Evelio Leonardia to hold a virtual meeting to discuss and harmonize travel guidelines between the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental and Bacolod City Government.

In a letter to Mayor Leonardia, dated today, the governor said that the provincial government welcomes such development and invites the mayor of Bacolod to a virtual meeting via Zoom on Friday, Jan. 28, 2022 at 3 p.m., which will also be attended by all city and municipal mayors of the province. Aside from harmonizing the travel guidelines, Bacolod City’s proposal to gain access to the Provincial One Hospital Command System, will also be discussed during the meeting, granting that Mayor Leonardia agrees to attend to the said virtual consultation meeting.
