Governor Bong Lacson and First District Representative, Gerardo Valmayor, Jr. led the turnover and inauguration of the Bug-ang National High School Covered Court in Brgy. Bug-ang, Municipality of Toboso yesterday morning.

The activity, attended by the BNHS teachers and personnel, students, and parents, started with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, blessing of the covered court, and a short program.

The infrastructure project was implemented through the Adopt-a-School Program of the First District.

Ma. Teresa Dañas, principal of BNHS, signed the Deed of Acceptance, on behalf of the school.

The governor said he is happy that the school project was realized for the benefit of the teachers and students.

He thanked the teachers for their dedication to their profession, and advised the students to study hard to have a brighter future.

The schools’ PTA officers and Toboso Parents-Teachers Federation officers also took their oaths of office before Gov. Lacson and Rep. Valmayor, respectively, as part of the activity.
