Governor Bong Lacson met with professors and plant pathologists from Tamagawa University, Japan, namely, Dr. Shunsuke Nozawa, Dr. Kyoko Watanabe, Dr. Ishikawa Koji, Tsurumi Yasuhisa, on Monday, June 20, 2022.
The group is in the province for the Science and Technology Research Partnership for Sustainable Development Program that involves project for the development of novel disease management systems for banana and cacao, particularly in the San Carlos City and Municipality of La Castellana.
They were also welcomed by Negros Occ. Provincial Administrator, Atty. Rayfrando Diaz, OIC-Regional Technical Director for Operations for DA Regional Field Office 6, Engr. Albert Barrogo, and Provincial Agriculturist Dr. Edmundo Causing.
