Dr. Elizabeth Altamira of the Department of Health-Western Visayas met with Governor Bong Lacson at the Provincial Capitol yesterday, November 15, 2021, for updates on the Universal Health Coverage Integration status of the province.

The group discussed about health promotion programs and campaigns of the Provincial Government that include the initiative on Health Promotion Committee, Barangay Health Workers as on-the-ground health promotion officers, and the implementation of population-wide health promotion programs.

Also present at the meeting were Provincial Health Officer, Dr. Ernell Tumimbang, Provincial Legal Officer Alberto Nellas, Jr., and Dr. Jessica Fama.
