Negros Occidental Governor Bong Lacson and Talisay City Mayor Neil Lizares signed a Deed of Usufruct for use of the provincial government property located at Brgy. Zone 12 Poblacion, Talisay City.

The ceremonial signing was held this afternoon at the Provincial Capitol Social Hall in Bacolod City.

The said property is a 30,000-square meter lot located at the Rafael B. Lacson Memorial High School oval, which the Talisay City Government plans to use as training facility for school athletes.

Mayor Lizares said he will develop the property for sports and educational activities for the benefit of more Negrense students and athletes.

The signing was witnessed by Negros Occidental Provincial Administrator, Atty. Rayfrando Diaz, and Talisay City Administrator Atty. Jonathan Ealdama and was supported by Talisay City SP Members, Daniel Tribaco, Carl Lizares Randy Ereneta, Rolin Meliton, Gabriel Villacin, Resty Tuvilla, and William Malan, SK Federation President Marcky Nick Pelaez, and Executive Assistant for Finance, Nicolai Jalandoni.

Also present in the activity were Asst. City Administrator, Ismael Penado, Executive Assistant to the Mayor, Arthur Maramba, Talisay City Consultant on Sports, Marvin Tan, Talisay City PIO, Chuck Diaz, Provincial Legal Officer, Alberto Nellas, and Executive Assistant to the Governor, Charina Magallanes-Tan.
