WATCH. Launching of Project BONG and distribution of 1,439 learning tablets to students of the Municipality of Cauayan.
A total of 1,439 learning tablets were distributed to students at the launch of Project BONG, or Bata ang Ona sa Negros, held in the Municipality of Cauayan on Monday, November 14, 2022.
It is a collaborative project of the Provincial School Board headed by Gov. Lacson, Office of Sixth District Rep. Mercedes Alvarez, Cauayan LGU led by Mayor John Rey Tabujara, and Negros Occ. Schools Division Office headed by Division Superintendent Anthony Liobet.
The project aims to facilitate e-Learning among students; it will also allow both students and teachers to be connected and in direct communication for school tasks and assignments.
The turnover of the tablets was held at Cauayan National High School.
Also present at the activity were Board Members Jeffrey Tubola and Rita Gatuslao, teachers, and parents of the recipients.
