Governor Bong Lacson led in the ceremonial turnover of rice assistance, today, to the seven municipalities of the province which were identified to have the most need, in mitigating the effects of Covid-19 pandemic.

The beneficiaries are municipalities of San Enrique, Valladolid, Pontevedra, Candoni, Moises Padilla, Pulupandan, and Don Salvador Benedicto.

Each of the recipient LGUs received 318 bags of rice from the Dept. of Agriculture Region VI through Executive Director Remelyn Recoter, and the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental.

Negros Occidental Provincial Agriculturist, Atty. Japhet Masculino and OPA staff were also present at the activity.
