Governor Bong Lacson, 3rd District Board Member Andrew Montelbano, Murcia Mayor Victor Gerardo Rojas, led the distribution of the Quick Turn Around or Early Planting Incentive Fund to 181 farmers of the Municipality of Murcia, today.
A total of P180,000 were distributed to the farmer-beneficiaries, covering a total of 90 hectares, facilitated through the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist.
The said Incentive is given to farmers engaged in early planting from April to May as support to rice requirements in the province during the off-milling season, particularly during the height of the pandemic.OPA Supervising Agriculturist, Dina Genzola, and other local officials were present at the activity.
