Barangay health workers from various barangays of the Fifth District of the province gathered at the Himamaylan Gymnasium in Brgy. 1, Himamaylan City today for the District V BHW Congress.
The event was graced by Governor Bong Lacson, along with Board Members Rita Gatuslao and Manuel Frederick Ko. Also in attendance were local leaders, including Mayor Raymund Tongson, Jr. of Himamaylan City and Mayor Irene Montilla of Isabela, among others.
This congress is part of a province-wide series of gatherings aimed at recognizing the invaluable contributions of BHWs. These frontline workers play a crucial role in delivering primary healthcare services and disseminating vital health information within their communities.*
