Negros Occ. Gov. Bong Lacson showed support to the participants of the Children’s Talent Contest, participated in by various Negros Occ. LGUs, held at Ayala Malls Capitol Central Activity Center, yesterday (Nov. 21).

Children joined in the Vocal Solo, Draw and Tell, and Folk Dance competitions.

The activity is part of the celebration of this year’s Provincial Children’s Month with the theme, “Healthy, Nourished, Sheltered: Ensuring the right to life for all!”.

Gov. Lacson said that the theme for the activity serves as a reminder of the shared responsibility to not only give every child the chance to live but also to provide the support for them to flourish and build the foundation for a promising future.

He also said that the contest serves as a celebration of gifts, potential, and endless possibilities for children.

The governor reiterated his support and love for the Negrense children, saying that he has their best interests at heart and that he believes in the talents and abilities of every Negrense child.

Also present at the activity were Board Member Rita Gatuslao and Provincial Social Welfare and Development Head Chiqui Gonzales, among others.*#childrensmonthcelebration2023#AbanseNegrense
