Gov. Bong Lacson turned over checks worth a total of P21.6 million to 109 barangays from the different districts of Negros Occidental for the implementation of various projects such as installation of solar street lights, improvement of water systems, purchase of multi-purpose vehicles, construction of multi-purpose buildings, purchase of garbage collection vehicle, rehabilitation of drainage systems, rehabilitation of daycare center, construction of potable water pump system, and rehabilitation of covered courts and health centers, among others.

The checks were received by the respective punong barangays and LGU-authorized representatives in a ceremonial turnover held at the Capitol Social Hall, this morning, in the presence of Board Members Jeffrey Tubola, Valentino Miguel Alonso and Manuel Frederick Ko.*#AbanseNegrense
