Two centenarians, Leonisa Gavines from the Municipality of Ilog and Concepcion Gudaca from Kabankalan City, both aged 102, were honored by the Provincial Government for their remarkable longevity and contributions to their communities.
Governor Bong Lacson, assisted by 6th District Board Member Jeffrey Tubola and Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) Head Chiqui Gonzales, personally handed each centenarian P100,000 in cash and a Centenarian Certificate, to their respective residents yesterday.
The recognition is part of the provincial government’s initiative to honor centenarians for their significant contribution to their families and communities while celebrating their inspiring milestones.*
