Capitol turns over livelihood projects to livestock breeders of 2nd district

Governor Bong Lacson led the distribution of breeder piglets to the livestock breeders of Manapla town, Cadiz and Sagay cities, through Negros Occidental’s Provincial Animal Genetic Improvement Program.

The activity was held at the Manapla Hall grounds, yesterday, spearheaded by the Provincial Veterinary Office, which also distributed veterinary drugs, supplies and biologics, and financial assistance to paravets of the District worth a total of P366,000.

Also present in the turnover were Board Member Sixto Guanzon, mayors Salvador Escalante, Jr. of Cadiz City and Manuel Escalante III of Manapla, other local officials, and members of the Alliance of Hog Raisers Association of Negros Occidental (AHRANO). Other districts of the province have already availed of the same program this year.

The beneficiaries thanked Gov. Lacson for the assistance given to them that will surely help them secure their income amidst the worldwide pandemic.#AbanseNegrense
