Governor Bong Lacson signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Teleperformance Chief Operating Officer and Country Head, Jose Luis Marquez, to provide job opportunities and enhance the skills of the students and graduates of the Negros Occidental Language and IT Center (NOLITC).
The MOA signing was held at the Governor’s Office, Provincial Capitol, today, and witnessed by Provincial Administrator, Atty. Rayfrando Diaz, TP Marketing Manager for VisMin, Levi Trio, and NOLITC Administrator, Dr. Ma. Cristina Orbecido.
The agreement entails collaboration between the provincial government, through NOLITC, and Teleperformance to provide more job opportunities to skilled Negrenses.
NOLITC is a registered and accredited technical vocational school, owned and operated by the Provincial Government, that focuses on the information and communications technology and language sector.
Under the said agreement, Teleperformance will also provide a venue for seminars, workshops, and training activities for the benefit of the academic institution.
Teleperformance is recognized as a worldwide leading provider of services in customer care and technical support, employing around 55,000 people in the Philippines and operates over in 23 locations in the country, including Bacolod City.
