More than a thousand Negrenses joined the BIDAlagan: A Negrense’s Advocacy Run Against Illegal Drugs held this morning, at the Capitol Park and Lagoon in Bacolod City.

Gov. Bong Lacson welcomed all the participants to the biggest collaboration on the campaign against illegal drugs in the province.

Also present were Negros Occ. Board Members Rita Gatuslao and Macho Alonso, ACE President, Mayor Javi Benitez, Regional Director of DILG VI Juan Jovian Ingeniero, DILG Negros Occ. Provincial Director Teodora Sumagaysay, and Provincial Planning and Development Officer Ana Marie Lucasan, among others.

The event is a collaboration of the DILG Negros Occidental, DILG Bacolod City, the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental, the City Government of Bacolod, the Association of Chief Executives, and DepEd Negros Occidental.BIDA or “Buhay Ingatan, Droga’y Ayawan” was also launched as part of the activity, with DILG Undersecretary for Plans, Public Affairs and Communication, Margarita Gutierrez, who was the keynote speaker.*#AbanseNegrense
