Governor Bong Lacson led the opening of the Abanse Negrense Beach Volleyball Tournament Championship held at the Panaad Beach Volleyball Sand Court in Bacolod City on November 25, 2022.

Gov. Lacson thanked all participating teams from the different towns and cities of Negros Occidental.

He said that beach volleyball is one of the popular sports in the country and the provincial government is always supportive of Negrense athletes, especially in providing them with a venue to improve their skills in sports.

Also present at the event were Provincial Sports Coordinator, Anthony Carlo Agustin, Panaad Park Administrator, Engr. Jojo Amugod, and Bacolod City PIO Carmela Gamboa.
