Assistance provided to Senior Citizens, PWDs and day care children.
Governor Bong Lacson led the turn over of wheel chairs for senior citizens, and hygiene kits for persons with disabilities (PWDs) and day care children, in a ceremonial distribution held at the Provincial Capitol grounds, this morning.
All 31 LGUs of the province received two wheelchairs for senior citizen organizations, 20 hygiene kits for PWDs, and 30 hygiene kits for day care centers, through the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office.
The officers of the Federation of Senior Citizens Association of the Philippines (FSCAP) of each LGU, and social welfare officers attended the activity.
A photocopy machine was also turned over to the PWD association of the Municipality of Don Salvador Benedicto.
Gov. Lacson said he is happy to know that most seniors are already vaccinated in most LGUs; he also campaigned for more Negrenses to get vaccinated sooner.
