WATCH. Distribution of Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers TUPAD Payouts with Gov. Bong Lacson and DOLE Sec. Silvestre Bello III

A total of P15.3 Million financial assistance were distributed to the beneficiaries of OWWA Balik Pinas, Balik Hanapbuhay, OWWA Tabang OFW, TUPAD, and Kabuhayan Projects, led by Sec. Silvestre Bello III of the Dept. of Labor and Employment, Governor Bong Lacson and Vice Governor Jeffrey Ferrer at the Negros Residences in Bacolod City yesterday, November 9, 2021.

The beneficiaries are from the different cities and municipalities of the province.

Gov. Lacson said that the effective collaboration between the national government, local government units, and other stakeholders is necessary to effectively address the multi-faceted concerns of the Filipino migrant and local workers.

He also said that the Filipino workforce is very much appreciated and has contributed a lot to the progress of the country.

“Sa tanan nga beneficiaries, kabay nga ang ini nga programa makabulig sa inyo kag ma suportahan ang inyo palangitan-an. Ang inyo gobernador kag gobyerno-probinsyal naga pangita gid sang pamaagi para maprotekyunan ang inyo kaayuhan”, said the governor.
