BRGY. VI-A MANGROVE ECO-TRAIL VICTORIAS GET ASSISTANCE
Governor Bong Lacson turned over financial assistance worth P1.2 million to Brgy. VI-A Mangrove Eco-Trail in Zone III Pasil, Victorias City, this afternoon.
The project, which is under the Coastal Wetlands Rehabilitation and Conservation Program of the province, involves construction of mangrove training center and mangrove boardwalk, that will provide livelihood assistance to project beneficiaries and Pasil Fisherfolks Association.
According to Punong Brgy. Anna Mae Claro, P800,000 will be allocated for the multi-purpose hall while P400,000 is for the Mangrove Board Walk.
It will also ensure the continuation of seedling production and maintenance of the Provincial Mangrove Nursery, as well as strengthen Information, Education, Communication activities at the Mangrove Training Center.
Provincial Environment Management Office Head, Atty. Julie Ann Bedrio, and other local officials were also present at the activity.
