ANIMAL HEALTH CENTER INAUGURATED IN MANAPLA
Governor Bong Lacson led the inauguration of the District Animal Health Center in the Municipality of Manapla, today, which coincides with the World Rabies Day celebration.
The animal health center is in Brgy. I – A, Manapla, and will cater to LGUs in the Second District of the province, and the neighboring towns and cities.
The project was initiated by the provincial government through the Provincial Veterinary Office to deliver veterinary services effectively and efficiently, particularly animal health care and related services.
Also present at the inauguration were Board Members Andrew Montelibano and Sixto Pal Guanzon, Manapla Mayor Manuel Escalante III, PVO OIC Dr. Placeda Lemana, and other officials of the town.
As a joint undertaking between the provincial government and its partner LGU, aMemorandum of Agreement was signed to ensure the center’s successful operation.
It will cater to veterinary consultation, medical treatment, deworming, vitamin supplementation, laboratory tests, and surgery castration.
