The AFS Intercultural Programs Philippines Students for Cycle 2022 namely Alexandru Parpatua and Nicolo Rettore of Italy, Simon Aerts and Svea De Valkenaere of Belgium, Theodor Luetkebohmert and Tjorven Zwicket of Germany, Virag Ortutay of Finland, and Mikata Miwa of Japan, paid a courtesy visit to Gov. Bong Lacson at the Capitol today.
They were with AFS Negros Occidental volunteers, Larry Franco, Mary Joy Mikawa, Ena Marie Orbecido, and Ember Jean Diaz, and Negros Occ. Language and IT Center (NOLITC) Administrator, Dr. Ma. Cristina Orbecido.
AFS is a study abroad program for secondary school students. It is supported and facilitated by trained staff and volunteers whose main purpose is to enable the youth to be responsible global citizens working for peace and understanding with different countries and culture.
