Governor Bong Lacson spearheaded the Abanse Negrense Sports Orientation and Clinic held at Gil Montilla National High School in Sipalay City yesterday, March 25, 2021.
It is a two-day event (March 25 – 26) organized by Executive Assistant to the Governor and Provincial Sports Coordinator, Tony Agustin, together with the Provincial Sports Office.
The local coaches of Sipalay City were oriented of the safety protocols for various sports events such as athletics, basketball, boxing, football/futsal and volleyball in the new normal.
They also received sports supplies and equipment.
According to Gov. Lacson, joining sports has lots of physical and mental benefits, especially to the youth.
He also said that health and safety protocols must be observed at all times for the safety of everybody.
Present in the activity were Sixth District Board Member Jeffrey Tubol and Sipalay City Mayor Gina Lizares, and other local officials.
