WATCH. Distribution of insurance claims worth a total of P800,000 to the beneficiaries of provincial government’s Barangay Insurance Program.

Families of barangay tanods, officials, employees, and health workers enrolled in the Provincial Government’s Barangay Insurance Program have claimed insurance benefits in a distribution held at the Provincial Capitol, earlier today.

Governor Bong Lacson led the turn over of barangay insurance benefits worth a total of P800,000 to beneficiaries from the cities of San Carlos, Escalante, Sagay, Silay, Talisay, and Himamaylan, and the towns of Murcia, Pulupandan, Isabela, Moises Padilla, La Castellana, and Binalbagan.

The insurance program is under the Special Programs and Concerns Division headed by Engr. Jose Maria Amugod.

Strict health and safety protocols were observed at the activity.
