5 LGUs RECEIVE ADAC AWARDS AT JOINT PPOC AND PADAC MEETING
Five Negros Occidental LGUs receive their respective Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC) Special Awards during the 2nd Quarter Joint Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC) and the Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Council (PADAC) held at the Capitol Social Hall, yesterday (June 22).
Negros Occ. Gov. Bong Lacson led the awarding of ADAC Markers to the Municipality of Pontevedra (2019), Pulupandan (2020), and Valladolid (2020) and the cities of Sipalay (2019) and Cadiz (2020).
The ADAC Special Awards is a recognition given to LGUs for their continued efforts in complementing the national anti-illegal drug campaign of the government.Negros Occ. Board Member Juvy Pepello and
Provincial Administrator, Atty. Rayfrando Diaz were also present at the meeting.
303rd Infantry Brigade Commander, General Inocencio Pasaporte, Negros Occ. Police Provincial Office (NOCPPO) Director, Colonel Leo Pamittan, and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Provincial Officer, Jyxyvzcky Escrupolo reported on updates of their respective offices.
Meanwhile, DILG Negros Occ. Provincial Director and PPOC/PADAC Secretariat Head, Roselyn Quintana reported on the status of Support to Barangay Development Program.
